Office Clerk (Entry level)

We are a wholesale food distributor dealing in all products used in the food industry, including meat, seafood, produce, dry goods, paper products, etc. We purchase product from a few large wholesalers and distribute them to restaurants in both Manhattan and the Northern New Jersey area.

We are looking to hire someone with excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. This is a full-time position. Experience with QuickBooks online preferred.

Requirements

• Create invoices for customer orders
• Enter bills from vendors
• Enter expenses
• Enter vendor credits
• Pay bills
• Apply customer payments (check, cash, credit card, zelle)
• Able to process customer returns and issue credit memo for customers
• Able to work some weekends
• Other duties as needed

Warehouse Pickers

We are looking for an energetic order picker in our warehouse to join our team! You will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products and operate warehouse equipment to create and help pack appropriate orders. Great room for advancement and learning opportunities!

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming orders
• Locate products in the warehouse using technology
• Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
• Build pallets with orders and position them to loading areas on delivery trucks
• Wrap orders before loading on trucks
• Keep records of completed orders
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards

Requirements & Skills

• Experience as order picker or other warehouse position
• Interested in learning
• Experience in handling pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment
• Able to read and write in English
• Bilingual, a plus
• Great attention to detail
• Diligent and punctual
• Good physical strength and stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
